Grid-tied systems are connected to your grid (Meralco). It only powers, or gives you FREE electricity when the sun is out. It automatically prioritizes to consume the energy produced by your solar power system. If insufficient, only then you will be consuming energy from your grid (Meralco).
Tip: Utilize as much power as you can, in order for the FREE electricity to not go to waste! If you wish to store these excess energy and use it during the nighttime, or when the sun is no longer out, a hybrid system is for you! Click here to browse our hybrid systems.

Hybrid systems is basically a grid-tied system WITH BATTERIES. What makes this different from a grid-tied, is that you can have FREE electricity even when the sun is no longer out by utilizing the excess power produced, stored in those batteries. Yet a downside of this is what makes hybrid systems very expensive is the batteries.

- AC usage during nighttime, instead of during the day

An off-grid system is a stand alone system. It's the opposite of a grid-tie system, as it solely relies on the power produced by the system only.

- Rural areas and areas with no access to the grid (Meralco, etc.)
